Alle-Kiski Medical Center (AKMC) consists of a 250-bed hospital in Natrona Heights and an Ambulatory Care Center in New Kensington. The hospital offers a broad spectrum of medical and surgical services, including inpatient psychiatric care, cardiology and orthopedics. Outpatient services are also available on the hospital campus.
AKMC’s Ambulatory Care Center provides a wide array of outpatient programs, including laboratory and radiology services, such as routine X-rays, mammography, and ultrasound. Although AKMC does not offer inpatient obstetrics services, the hospital provides prenatal services, including prenatal classes, childbirth education, lactation consultation, infant safety and CPR classes. AKMC also offers a wide array of gynecological services.
